Merry & Bright

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm showing you another card from the Festival of Trees stamp set. I love ribbon and bows, and this Cherry Cobbler ribbon is scrumptious!
See the cute cherry balls on the tree? It's a stamp in the set that fits right over the tree stamp. Since the stamps are clear (photopolymer) you can easily see right where to place the decorations!
Here is a close-up so you can see the dimension added to this card:

Here are a list of ingredients used to make this card:

Stamp Sets: Festival of Trees, Good Greetings
Ink Pads: Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow
Paper: Whisper White, Nordic Noel Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Tree Punch, Paper Piercer, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon, Early Espresso Marker
Hope you have a FANTASTIC weekend!

A Merry Little Wish!

Today I'm showing you a card from my Festival of Trees class that I held last night. This beauty was made using several products from the Holiday Catalog.
The card base is Pear Pizazz, and is 5 1/2 by 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. The Whisper White Layer is 4 x 5 1/4, embossed with the Filigree Frame Embossing Folder. The Soft Sky Circle is cut with the Circle Framelits, and the Tree Image is punched out of it using the Tree Punch from the Holiday Catalog. The washi tape that makes up the tree is the 'All is Calm' Washi Tape. All I did was punch out a 2 1/2" circle, that I covered with rows of different washi tape, and layered the bigger circle over it with dimensionals. The star is punched from Silver Foil paper and a framelit from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Bundle. and the Frosted Sequins are also from the holiday catalog. The 1/2" banner is stamped with a greeting that comes in the Festival Of Trees Stamp Set. Finished off the banner with some Linen Thread tied into a bow.
You can shop for all of these "ingredients" here. If you'd like to see the Holiday Catalog, you can click the link on the right side of my main blog page.

Watercolor Winter Card Kit

Good Morning Stampers! These four cards are showcased in an upcoming class of mine, but you can play along at home, too!

I just love this card kit! Everything you need to make twenty cards (five each of these four designs!) with matching envelopes comes in this kit for $24.95! The only things you need to add are some ink in Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler, and Bermuda Bay, and some adhesive! The word banners are stamped with Watercolor Winter Too Stamp Set.(I also added in the woodgrain background in the Merry & Bright card.) They are hard to see, but the kit also comes with sequins, all these cute diecuts, and some thread to wrap around the cards. You can buy this card kit here.

A Work of Art

Am I tooting my own horn? No way---but I did feel like an artist while I was making these two cards. Why? The Work of Art Stamp Set, of course! This set has been sitting in my drawer because I was intimidated by it. Wow...was I ever being silly! I don't think you can screw up a card with this set! It's so SIMPLE and QUICK!  The paint swipe is an image in the set. I love it! The flowers are from the Petite Petals Stamp set, the little watercolor flower worked perfectly with this brushstroke! I punched out the flowers with the matching petite petal punch. Here are a couple of close ups for you:

Ingredients:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party
Inkpads: Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Black Stazon
Stamp Sets: Work of Art, Petite Petals, Four You (greetings)
Accessories: Petite Petal Punch, Pearl Basic Jewels
If you want to order any of these supplies, you can just click here

After playing with this set for awhile, I got crafty and used a few more images from the Work of Art Set on the inside of this card:
Can YOU see the possibilities? Yum! I want to thank Pinterest posts from Renee Barnes and Susan Horr for inspiring my cards today.

LetterPress Winter Thank Yous!

Hello Everybody! Welcome to my first well...not-so-much-first-as-turning-over-a-new-leaf blogpost!

Today I'm showing you some cute 3 1/2 x 5 thank you notes that I made to go into my orders this month! I got the idea from Tracy Elsom, off Pinterest. What struck me was the sweet simplicity of this note card, coupled with the pop of WOW you get from the white embossing powder.
Ingredients:
Stamp Set: LetterPress Winter from the Holiday Mini
Cardstock: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, and Coastal Cabana
Ink: Whisper White Craft Pad
Accessories: Silver Satin Ribbon, White Embossing Powder

Here are some close-ups of the two cards:

The Blackberry Bliss is a beautiful deep purple, but my pic doesn't do it justice! The simplest way to stamp this frame with the greeting neatly centered? Mount BOTH stamps to the block at once, and stamp it ONE TIME!! Yippee!! I love it when I can save a step! I hope the wonderful gals who receive one of these like them.
