Blackberry Bliss Painted Petals Thank You Card

Today I want to show you another card I created from the Painted Petals Stamp Set. This set is straight out of the Occasions Mini Catalog, and is one of my favorites. Why, you ask? Because you can feel like an artist, even if you don't think of yourself as one! Here it is:
Stamp Sets: Painted Petals
Ink Pads: Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizazz
Cardstock: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss
Accessories: Lace Paper Doilies, Blackberry Bliss Ribbon, Circle Framelits

Something about that gathered ribbon just makes me happy! It's a super easy to do. Just run a piece of Sticky Strip across the front of your card, and randomly pinch up the ribbon and stick it as you go across.

Painted Petals

Have you ever seen something and just knew you had to make one? Well, that's the case with today's card. I CASE'd it from the Occasions Catalog, and added my own little pop of color to give it some interest. This card is going to be featured in one of my upcoming classes in January called "Painted Petals" The class revolves around a new product suite in the Occasions Catalog. Several products I used on this card are included in the suite. I love that Stampin' Up! saves me so much work by coordinating all of their products. See below for more details on the "ingredients" used here.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight
Stamp Set: Painted Petals
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Spring Flowers Textured Embossing Folder, Sponge Daubers, Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Painted Blooms Cotton Twine in White, Brights Buttons

Celebrate Today!

Celebrate today... That's something I need to remind myself often. I'm always running somewhere or doing something. So much so, that I find myself wishing my life away with the phrase, ”when I get done with this, then I'll finally have some time for.......” How about you? Do you do the same?  Its easy to remember to celebrate when you love something, and I love polka dots! So, when I saw this set in the new catalog, it was the first one on my wish list! Don't you love those round balloons? So many possibilities! 

Happy Saturday!

Today I'm showing you another card from the Festival of Trees stamp set. I love ribbon and bows, and this Cherry Cobbler ribbon is scrumptious!
See the cute cherry balls on the tree? It's a stamp in the set that fits right over the tree stamp. Since the stamps are clear (photopolymer) you can easily see right where to place the decorations!
Here is a close-up so you can see the dimension added to this card:

A Merry Little Wish!

Today I'm showing you a card from my Festival of Trees class that I held last night. This beauty was made using several products from the Holiday Catalog.
The card base is Pear Pizazz, and is 5 1/2 by 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. The Whisper White Layer is 4 x 5 1/4, embossed with the Filigree Frame Embossing Folder. The Soft Sky Circle is cut with the Circle Framelits, and the Tree Image is punched out of it using the Tree Punch from the Holiday Catalog. The washi tape that makes up the tree is the 'All is Calm' Washi Tape. All I did was punch out a 2 1/2" circle, that I covered with rows of different washi tape, and layered the bigger circle over it with dimensionals. The star is punched from Silver Foil paper and a framelit from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Bundle. and the Frosted Sequins are also from the holiday catalog. The 1/2" banner is stamped with a greeting that comes in the Festival Of Trees Stamp Set. Finished off the banner with some Linen Thread tied into a bow.
You can shop for all of these "ingredients" here. If you'd like to see the Holiday Catalog, you can click the link on the right side of my main blog page.
